| Artist Statement: The power of water is ever present in the Yosemite landscape. Here huge boulders, called erratics, have been left along mountain tops by the glaciers that once covered this land. |
| Materials and Techniques: The front of quilt is hand painted silk crepe de chine using gutta serti and wax resist with acid dyes. The backing is Indian silk doupioni and the batting is polyester. Machine quilted using nylon monofilament and polyester thread. |
