BIOGRAPHY: Charlotte Bird began her art career in 1987 after she and her husband spent most of a year in a cabin in Denali National Park, Alaska. Since then she has explored a variety of art forms including: art quilts, mixed media sculptural forms, artist’s books, textile design and dyeing, and one-of-a-kind women’s clothing. Her work is in many private and public collections. She exhibits widely and is a member of several professional artist organizations including Surface Design Association, Friends of Fiber Art International, Studio Art Quilt Associates, California Fibers and Pacific Quilt Artists.
