Leaving Charlotte Lake, we hiked down along Bubb's Creek where the water danced and roared over rocks, much more so than we were anticipating this late in the season. |
On our last day we met up with the South Fork of the Kings River, which also had a surprising amount of water in it given three years of drought. There was an unusually high number of thunderstorm days in the Sierra this summer and I think that kept the streams flowing later in the year; unfortunately not enough to impact our drought situation though. |
